Foam is building to make Sentry and Datadog obsolete with a new pricing model (fixed-price terms) that shows how much regard we have for our clients and the engineering under the hood. We are an OpenTelemetry-native observability platform that instruments codebases and automatically identifies and root-causes breakages across systems with zero prompting and zero configuration, then DMs the engineer responsible, not the git-blamed engineer, with a root cause analysis and a fix ready.

Under the hood: we are building and optimizing our own cold-storage query engine to make petabyte-scale telemetry searchable in seconds, an AI agent runtime that scopes investigations to minimize token spend, and a code-aware attribution layer that maps errors to owning engineers via service graphs, not git blame. Every monitor is an autonomous agent watching traces, logs, and metrics in real time.

Staff Founding Engineer

Hands-on-keyboard builder with a demonstrable history of operating between H5 and H6 who’s been unshackled by modern coding agents.

Forward Deployed Engineer

You’ll work directly with our customers on-site and in the trenches. You’ve personally rolled out instrumentation across multiple companies and tech stacks, deploying OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Sentry, Honeycomb, or similar tools and bring strong database experience across both relational and NoSQL systems.

Compensation: $250,000 - $400,000/yr + 0.5% to 2% equity
